Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 September 2026
Draft for review. A solid starting point reflecting how Rekly works — have a lawyer review it and fill in the bracketed details before you rely on it.

These terms are the agreement between you and Rekly for using our software. By creating an account or using Rekly, you accept them. If you're agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you're allowed to bind it.

01The agreement

“Rekly”, “we” and “us” mean [Rekly — legal entity to be registered], [registered address — Barcelona, Spain]. “You” means the customer — the venue and the people who use it under your account. Our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Data Processing Agreement form part of these terms.

02The service

Rekly is a subscription tool that helps cafés, bars & restaurants manage their online reputation — syncing Google reviews, drafting and (once you connect Google) posting replies, collecting new reviews, running a digital menu and WiFi capture, and showing insights. We improve the service over time and may add, change or remove features.

03Your account

04Acceptable use

You agree not to:

05Reviews & AI-generated content

Rekly drafts replies using AI. Drafts are suggestions: you are responsible for what is published under your venue's name. We ground the AI so it doesn't invent facts, and we hold sensitive replies for your approval, but you should review content before it goes live and make sure it's accurate and appropriate. AI output can contain mistakes.

06Your content

You keep ownership of the content you put into Rekly — menus, notes, brand-voice settings, replies. You grant us the licence needed to host and process it to run the service (including sending it to our AI and infrastructure providers for that purpose). You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload.

07Google & other third parties

Rekly relies on Google's APIs and other providers. Your use of Google data is also subject to Google's terms, and we're not responsible for third-party services, outages or changes that affect what Rekly can do. If a provider changes or withdraws access, some features may change.

08Plans & billing

09Free trial & cancellation

New accounts get a free trial (currently 7 days, no card required). When it ends, continued use of paid features needs a subscription. You can cancel anytime from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and, unless the law requires otherwise, fees already paid aren't refundable. Consumer withdrawal rights, where they apply, are unaffected.

10Warranties & liability

Rekly is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running and useful, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular business result (such as a specific rating or number of reviews). To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it arose, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11Suspension & termination

You can stop using Rekly and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, don't pay, or use Rekly in a way that risks harm or legal exposure. On termination your right to use the service ends; we'll handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy and DPA.

12Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and disputes are subject to its courts, unless mandatory local law where you live gives you other rights. We may update these terms; we'll post the new version here with an updated date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use Rekly after that means you accept the change.
